Modification to the Develonment Al!:reement for Wells Farl!:o <br />Application for an amendment to the Development Agreement to extend the term by five years, <br />from August 9, 2000, to August 9, 2005; for an amendment to the Reimbursement Agreement <br />to clarify the method and manner of construction and/or payment for certain public <br />improvements required as mitigation measures; and for an amendment to the Development <br />Deferment Agreement to conform its term to the new term of the Development Agreement, for <br />the Stoneridge Corporate Plaza II located east of Stoneridge Mall between Stoneridge Mall <br />Road and Highway 1-680. <br /> <br />Continued indefinitely. <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright inquired if there were plans to repair any streets in Vintage Hills due to <br />complaints he had received. Mr. Higdon described the City's procedure to rate the streets and <br />determine which are in need of repair. Terri Czapinski advised Mr. Higdon that the recent sewer <br />work on Inglewood near Hopyard has caused a sunken area in the street. <br /> <br />Commissioner Cooper inquired if there is anything the Planning Commission could do to bring the <br />business owners to task who sell tobacco products to minors. Discussion ensued, however, it was <br />determined that there are no land use penalties to such business owners. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dove expressed his thoughts that it is inappropriate to negotiate with an applicant to <br />help provide parks and/or soccer fields. Mr. Iserson stated the City could not condition an applicant <br />to allow their land to be used for soccer fields. Considerable discussion continued on this topic. <br /> <br />Commissioner McGuirk advised of the traffic gridlock situation that occurs at the gas station at Main <br />Street and St. Mary Street. <br /> <br />Commissioner Barker brought up the subject of obscene pictures on T-shirts. Me. Beougher advised <br />that is part of free speech and free press. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright advised staff that there is now a second resident on his street that is parking <br />a boat out on the street without moving it every 72 hours. Mr. Beougher advised that this is a <br />comp1aint-driven situation. <br /> <br />Chairman Lutz wanted to note that the South Livermore Land Trust has purchased easements on <br />Concannon Winery.
