<br /> <br />In response to Commissioner McGuirk, Mr. Iserson advised that staff has surveyed the parking lot <br />at various times and feels the 145 overflow parking spaces are usually available throughout the day. <br /> <br />. PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED <br /> <br />Steve Wehrlie, 2721 No. Main Street, Walnut Creek, represented this application. He reiterated that <br />his business is an "upscale" billiard hall and restaurant. Their competitors will be the upscale dinner <br />restaurants as opposed to the other pool halls in town. <br /> <br />Commissioner Cooper asked Mr. Wehrlie to describe the security arrangements. They have an <br />outdoor security person to monitor the parking lot and three to four people on Thursday through <br />Saturday nights manning the exterior doors, checking identification as well as checking the lounges, <br />restrooms, etc. At the close of business and after emptying the building, the security personnel <br />disperse any crowds in the parking lot. These security arrangements will be instituted at the <br />Pleasanton facility. <br /> <br />Mr. Wehrlie advised he has read the staff report and agrees to the conditions of approval. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright stated he was happy to see the Marie Callendar building being occupied. <br /> <br />In response to Commissioner McGuirk, Mr. Iserson advised that the parking lot agreement runs with <br />the property and is recorded in the deed. <br /> <br />.
