<br /> <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson took this opportunity, being the last regularly scheduled meeting for Commissioner <br />Hovingh, to read the City Commendation to Jack Hovingh in honor of his long tenure of <br />l1ewcatel1 service to the Planning Commission between July 1988 to Ma)' 1996. The <br />Commission unanimously approved adoption of this commendation. Commissioner Hovingh <br />thanked all Commissioners and staff, saying it was a pleasure working with all and giving thanks <br />to all for the work staff did for him over the years making his job as Commissioner easier. <br /> <br />5. MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />There were none. <br /> <br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />a. UP-95-80/Z-95-255, GTE Mobilnet/Tea GrouD <br />Application for a conditional use permit and design review approval to allow the <br />construction and operation of an unmanned cellular communications facility, including an <br />85 foot tall monopole and transmission/receiving antenna and a 240 square foot equipment <br />building, located at 3744 Old Santa Rita Road. Zoning for the property is C-S (Service <br />Commercial) District, <br /> <br />Continued to May 22, 1996. <br /> <br />b. PUD-80-16-6M. Lamorinda DevelODment and Investment <br />Application for a Planned Unit Development ml\ior modification and development plan <br />approval to allow the construction of a fast-food restaurant with a drive through, a service <br />station with a convenience store and car wash, and two future restaurant pads located at <br />5050 Hopyard Road (Hopyard Road at Gibraltar Drive). Zoning for the property is PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) - I1C-O (Industrial/Commercial-Office) District. <br /> <br />Continued to May 22, 1996. <br /> <br />c. UP-96-10. Pleasanton Commnnitv Church <br />Application for a conditional use permit for an existing church to relocate Sunday school <br />classrooms from 4455 Stoneridge Drive to the second floor of the bnilding located at 4439 <br />Stoneridge Drive, Zoning for the property is PUD (planned Unit Development) - I <br />(Industrial) District. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson presented the staff report for the application of the Pleasanton Community Church <br />to modify their conditional use permit to allow the relocation of Sunday School classrooms from <br />4455 Stoneridge Drive to the second floor of 4439 Stoneridge Drive. The subject site is owned <br />by the P1easanton Community Church and has had a conditional use permit since May 1988. <br />The main concern of this application was to insure adequate handicapped access to the second <br />floor. Staff has worked with the applicants to install a residential elevator to the second floor. <br />There will be approximately 138 children involved in the classes. Some weekday classes will <br />be held in this location as well.
