If the single-story building is used for a pedestrian-use, sidewalk is to be <br />installed along that portion of the site. The applicant is in agreement with this. <br /> <br />Staff is requesting Condition 6 be modified to include a top cap treatment on the pilasters and <br />will work with the applicant with the design; it does not have to be a soldier course, as is <br />presently stated in the Condition. <br /> <br />Staff feels the building is nicely designed, is an attractive addition to the business park, and <br />recommends approval of the application, subject to the modification of Condition 6. <br /> <br />In response to Commissioner Barker, Mr. Iserson advised that if the West Las Positas <br />interchange is not approved, the conditions do not have to be implemented. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright noted that Paseo Santa Cruz has become the street to park cars that are <br />for sale. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dove commented that the golf ball man was at the Farmer's Market Saturday. <br />He suggested that at some future meeting the Commission should talk about what should be <br />done when people defy City regulations.
