Center <br />Application for a major modification to an approved Planned Unit Development (PUD) <br />for Hopyard Village Shopping Center, located at the northeast corner of Hopyard Road <br />and Valley Avenue, to consider amendments to conditions of approval regarding uses, <br />hours of parking lot gate closure, parking lot lighting, landscaping, and lattice fence <br />extensions for the 52 space back parking lot and buildings located at 5725 and <br />5737 Valley Avenue. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - C-C <br />(Central Commercial) District. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson presented the staff report for the application of a major modification approval for <br />the approved Planned Unit Development (PUD) for Hopyard Village Shopping Center to <br />consider amendments to the conditions of approval regarding uses, hours of parking lot gate <br />closure, parking lot lighting, landscaping and lattice fence extensions for the 52 space eastern <br />parking lot and buildings located at 5725 and 5737 Valley Avenue. <br /> <br />These modifications were first considered by the Planning Commission in November 1995 <br />after a series of meetings between the neighbors, shopping center owners/management, and <br />staff. A number of long-standing issues were discussed. Some resolutions were achieved <br />and identified at that meeting. The Commission directed staff to initiate a formal PUD <br />modification, which is now before the Commission.
