<br />. . <br />i <br />. <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />entrance to the new development be further down Sycamore Road to prevent any negative impact <br />on the current homeowners. <br /> <br />John Severini addressed the Commission again and stated that he was not aware that there was <br />a three-way stop plan for "A" Street and that he is opposed to that as well because he believes <br />it would cause additional noise and safety problems. <br /> <br />Wilona Perry, 5848 San Juan Way, Pleasanton, commented that most of the people living on <br />Sycamore Road have lived their all of their lives and they will be losing their way of life with <br />construction of the new development. She urged the Commission to consider the problems that <br />this development has caused between long-time neighbors. Ms. Perry also thanked Greenbriar <br />for their professionalism and courtesy. However, she stated that she was originally informed <br />by them that a single-story home would be built behind her home, but she now finds that it has <br />been replaced with a two-story and she will be losing some of her view. She also expressed <br />concern with the setback of that home and wants to be assured that it will be built at least 64 feet <br />behind hers as was originally agreed between her and Greenbriar. Ms. Perry further stated that <br />she wants her fence to be open rather than solid. <br /> <br />Larry Dingman, 387 Sycamore Road, Pleasanton, stated that he and his family moved to <br />Sycamore Road because of the rural atmosphere. He would like to see Sycamore Road remain <br />in its original alignment. He advised the Commission that a portion of his property is needed <br />for both proposals of "A" Street and that he is willing to negotiate with the developer to use <br />some of his property for the new alignment, but he is not willing to give up any of his property <br />for the NSSP plan. If the new road is approved, Mr. Dingman suggested that a workshop be <br />held be with the residents, the developer, and the City staff to discuss details for the sidewalk, <br />bike lane, and landscape area. He encouraged the Commission to support the new alignment <br />for Sycamore Road. <br /> <br /> <br />Bruce Brogden, 6245 Alisal Street, Pleasanton, asked why the street into the new development <br />did not come off of Sunol Boulevard. He expressed concern that residents who pull trailers from <br />their property onto Sycamore Road will probably be sideswiped. He also stated that the <br />increased traffic to the golf course with the proposed road will cause noise problems for his <br />home. He stated that he believes a setback greater than 75 feet is needed in order to prevent <br />extensive noise problems. <br /> <br />Earl Bach addressed the Commission again and noted that the Greenes have two driveways; one <br />on each end of their property. He stated that the road will be at least 200 feet from one end of <br />their driveway and that should provide sufficient space for them to get in and out of their <br />driveway safely. <br /> <br />Ron Guerra, 901 Sycamore Road, Pleasanton, stated that he was a member of the NSSP <br />Committee.
