<br />r~ , <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br /> <br />Wednesday, November 12, 1997 <br />7:00pm <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The Planning Commission meeting of November 12, 1997, was called to order at 7:00 <br />p.m. by Chair Cooper. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> <br />1... ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Commissioners Debra Barker, Jack Dove, Kris Kumaran, <br />Harry Lutz, Bob Wright, and Chair Geoff Cooper <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: None <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br /> <br />Jerry Iserson, Principal Planner; Renee Perko, City <br />Attorney's Office; Sharon Piserchio, Recording Secretary <br /> <br />2.,. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The minutes of the October 22, 1997, meeting were approved with the following <br />revisions: <br /> <br />Commissioner Barker amended page 11, paragraph 3, sentence 4, to correct the spelling <br />of her last name from "Baker" to "Barker." She also amended page 11, paragraph 3, sentence <br />8, to read as follows: "She believes that there is only one way to stop that and that would be <br />a barrier across Kolin north of Morganfield Road and the Ponderosa project should totally come <br />out on Busch." Finally, she amended page 14, paragraph 10, to read as follows: "Commissioner <br />Barker asked that the Park and Recreation Commission look at the policy regarding the use of <br />neighborhood parks for use for organized team sports for younger ages. " <br /> <br />Chair Cooper amended page 12, paragraph 3, sentence 4, to read as follows: "He stated <br />that his preference would be to have it open to flow-through traffic and there would be no turn <br />restrictions but, because of the agreement the Ad Hoc Committee arrived at, he would support <br />Option 5. If Option 6 was selected, there would be no justification for closing Mohr Avenue." <br />
