<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />200 Old Bernal <br />Wednesday, August 27, 1997 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The Planning Commission meeting of August 27, 1997, was called to order at 6:57 p.m. by Chair <br />Cooper. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> <br />h ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: <br /> <br />Commissioners Jack Dove, Kris Kumaran, Harry Lutz, and Chair Geoff <br />Cooper <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: <br /> <br />Commissioners Debra Barker and Bob Wright <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br /> <br />Jerry Iserson, Principal Planner; and Katherine Ferreira, Recording <br />Secretary <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Kumaran, seconded by Commissioner Lutz, to approve <br />the minutes of the August 13, 1997, meeting with the following revisions: <br /> <br />Commissioner Kumaran amended Page 3, second paragraph, first sentence, to read as follows: <br />"Commissioner Kumaran commented that he supported felt the waiver of the lower-income housing <br />fee, but felt that the additional waiver of the other City fees totaling $2.1 million would result <br />in a negative impact to the General Fund and questioned the outcome of the economic analysis." <br /> <br />Commissioner Kumaran amended Page 7, first paragraph following the motion, to read as follows: <br />"Commissioner Kumaran stated that he would like to see the City Council scrutinize eaB.ieer the <br />proposed fee waiver before wfleH it considers the project." <br /> <br />Chair Cooper amended Page 15, fourth paragraph, second sentence, to read as follows: "He believes <br />the site should not be required to be annexed to the homeowners' association," <br /> <br />The motion earried, 4-0. <br /> <br />3. MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />There were none. <br />
