<br />~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />, . <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />200 Old Bernal <br />Wednesday, August 13, 1997 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The Planning Commission meeting of August 13, 1997, was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by Chair <br />Barker. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> <br />h ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: <br /> <br />Commissioners Geoff Cooper, Jack Dove, Kris Kumaran, Harry Lutz, <br />Robert Wright and Chair Barker <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br /> <br />Jerry Iserson, Principal Planner; Roger Higdon, Assistant Director of <br />Public Works; Kerri Watt, Associate Planner; Dolores Bengtson, <br />Director of Parks and Community Service; and Katherine Ferreira, <br />Recording Secretary <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The Minutes of the July 23, 1997, meeting were approved with the following revisions: <br /> <br />Page 10, second paragraph: Commissioner Cooper asked that the minutes be corrected to read as <br />follows: "Commissioner Cooper expressed concern that in that the Best Plaza anchor is empty, <br />Stoneridge Mall may be unable to build and maintain full occupancy, which would kill business faster <br />than a potential shortage of vested space." <br /> <br />Page 14, (bottom of page), Chair Barker requested that Commissioner Kumaran's statement that he <br />had watched the Council meeting on T.V. and the matter did not seem to be an explosive issue be <br />noted in the minutes. <br /> <br />3. MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE <br />AGENDA <br /> <br />There was none. <br />
