NTON City Council <br /> Staff Report <br /> <br /> February 1, 2005 <br /> Public Works Department <br /> <br />SUBJECT: ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR WEST LAS <br /> POSITAS RESURFACING FROM HACIENDA DRIVE TO SANTA <br /> RITA ROAD, PROJECT NO. 005069 <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br /> Staff recommends that the City Council take the following action at the <br /> meeting of February 1, 2005: <br /> <br /> 1. Accept the improvements for the subject project. <br /> <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the <br /> subject project. <br /> <br /> 3. Authorize final payment to MCK Services, Inc. in the amount of <br /> $5,159.50. <br /> <br /> 4. Authorize payment of retention in the amount of $77,045.67 to <br /> MCK Service, Inc. thirty days after filing the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />SUMMARY: Construction of the subject project is complete and is ready for <br /> acceptance. The project consisted of overlaying the existing street surface <br /> of West Las Positas Boulevard between Hacienda Drive and Santa Rita <br /> Road with a new layer of asphalt concrete. <br /> <br />SR 05:037 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
