<br />APPROVED <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />200 Old Bernal <br />Wednesday, June 25,1997 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The Planning Commission meeting of June 25, 1997, was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair <br />Barker. <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> <br />h ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: <br /> <br />Commissioners GeoffCooper, Jack Dove, Kris Kumaran, Harry Lutz, <br />Robert Wright and Chair Barker <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br /> <br />Brian Swift, Director of Planning; and Katherine Ferreira, Recording <br />Secretary <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Commissioner Cooper requested the following revisions to the minutes of the June 11, 1997, <br />meeting: <br /> <br />Page 6, last paragraph, change "students" to "children." <br />Page 12, first paragraph, add "He fails to see how hundreds of cars turning left from Bernal on to <br />Pleasanton A venue can be regarded as safe, especially absent a stop light. .. <br />Page 12, third paragraph, change "prohibited" to "weighed against." <br /> <br />The Minutes of the June 11, 1997, meeting were approved as revised. <br /> <br />Commissioner Dove excused himself from the meeting to attend the Golf Course Committee meeting. <br /> <br />3. MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE <br />AGENDA <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />4.
