-

Commissioner Cooper stated that he has real reservations about liaisons serving on
Commissions. He noted that he has attended meetings as a liaison, but has not voted. He
noted that he is happy to bring back perceptions of what they want to communicate to the
Planning Commission. He commented that resolutions are a more appropriate way to
communicate. He stated that the Affordable Housing Commission representatives could attend

and give testimony, but that would not be representation of the entire Commission.

Commissioner Kumaran stated that he feels it would be redundant to have a liaison to the
Planning Commission. He noted that the meetings are open and that commissioners from any
other commission are welcome to attend. He supports the aspect of the workshops with staff,
as well as other functions where there is an opportunity to get to know the other members.

There was general support for a workshop with all Commissions.

Mr. Bocian stated that he would relay the consensus of the Planning Commission to the
Affordable Housing Commission.

9.
