The modified development plan conforms to the purposes of the PUD District: The changes proposed by this modification to the Hacienda Business Park PUD Development Plans would affect the permitted uses for these sites which already allow a wide variety of commercial uses. Hotels/motels would be consistent with these permitted commercial uses. It is determined to be appropriate in the context of the direction established by the General Plan for the long-term land use planning near the East DublinIPleasanton BART Station. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed modification to allow hotels and motels on the parcels designated is appropriate. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section I. Section 2. Recommends approval of Case PUD-8l-30-35MIPUD-85-8-16M, the application of the Prudential Insurance Company, for a major modification of the Hacienda Business Park PUD development plans and design guidelines to allow hotels and motels on Parcels 52, 53A, 55A and B, 56C, 57 A, B, and C, subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
