Resolution No. PC-96-71 Page 5 8. The applicant shall obtain all building and other applicable City permits for the indoor recreational facility operation prior to the commencement of the use. All code requirements pertaining to exiting, occupancy, handicap access, and related matters shall be met to the satisfaction of the building and fire departments prior to issuance of any permits. All side and rear doors shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance of building permits. 9. The applicant shall install a noise muffling wall along the northern and eastern walls surrounding the laser tag arena to attenuate noise. The wall shall be designed to achieve an STC rating of 45-50, subject to the satisfaction of the Chief Building Official. The applicant shall ensure that the exterior noise does not exceed 50dB. 10. The emergency exit door(s) from the proposed suite are to remain closed, but unlocked, during normal operating hours except in the case of an emergency. II. This use permit is not transferable to another address. A new application must be made if the applicant relocates to another site. 12. No signage or exterior building modifications for the business are approved as part of this application. Any signage shall conform to the previously-approved sign program for the building. No exterior chan~es to the building shall be made. nor shall any existin~ window be modified or covered. without desi~n review &pproval by the Plannin~ Director. The existing west (front) storefront glass shall be retained, and the main entrance to the facility shall be on the west elevation; the floor plan shall be changed to accommodate this entrance. No awning shall be back-lit. 13. The applicant shall provide a detailed floor plan and building elevations with the plans submitted for issuance of building permits for the tenant improvements. The floor plan shall show the location of the video games, which shall be placed so as to be in direct line of sight of an employee at all times. 14. The sale or consumption of alcohol shall be prohibited at this site. 15. The applicant shall maintain the area surrounding the laser tag tenant space in a clean and orderly manner at all times. 16. In the event that nuisances are created through the operation of the laser tag facility, either within the facility itself or by its patrons in the vicinity of the facility, the Planning Director may refer the conditional use permit to the Planning Commission for review at a public hearing. If necessary, the Planning Commission may add additional conditions of approval or may revoke the conditional use permit. 17. A business license shall be obtained from the City of Pleasanton upon approval of said use permit. { end}
