Prior to the issuance of building permits, a comprehensive signing program shall be <br />submitted to the Planning Director for consideration under separate application. The sign <br />program shall be modified to reflect the following: <br /> <br />a. Pylon Sign <br /> <br />1. Tenant sign panels shall be constructed of individual letters routed-out of a <br />painted aluminum sign panel, illuminated from within. No tenant may <br />have more than two lines of copy listing the name of the business ~ <br />although logos may be permitted if they are designed as an integral part of <br />the business identification. <br />11. The applicant shall choose no more than two letter colors for all tenants. <br />111. Tenants shall use only one letter color and one lettering style for the pylon <br />sign. Individual business "trademark" colors, scripts, or logos shall not be <br />permitted on the pylon sign. <br />IV. The "Pleasanton Square" name shall be illuminated (preferably in neon <br />tubing). <br /> <br />b. Retail Building Signs <br /> <br />1. A detailed sign program for the retail buildings shall be submitted for the review <br />and approval ofthe Planning Director. The program shall indicate details <br />regarding sign letter colors, letter styles, logos sizes, sign illumination, and <br />installation methods. No exposed raceways are permitted. The in-line tenant <br />signs shall be limited to a maximum letter height of2'6". In-line tenant signs <br />shall be centered over the tenant space, shall be of individual channel letters of <br />one color per tenant and shall have one line of copy, except that two lines of <br />copy may be allowed where the where the business name can fit in a legible, <br />aesthetic manner on one line. <br />11. The major tenant retail signs on the east elevation of the building shall be equal <br />in letter size (3'0") and shall be internally illuminated channel letter signs. <br />111. Signs shall be comparable in size and scale to those indicated on the approved <br />plans, except as modified as above. <br /> <br />c. Hotel Signs <br /> <br />1. Prior to the issuance of building permits a detailed sign program indicating letter <br />styles, illumination, installation, letter styles, etc. shall be submitted for review <br />and approval by the Planning Director. No can signs shall be permitted. Signs <br />shall be comparable in size and scale to those indicated on the approved plans. <br />
