PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-63 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF DELTA PROPERTIES, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-96-13 WHEREAS, Delta Properties has submitted an application for a Planned Unit Development rezoning to permit additional commercial uses for this site within the Pleasanton Park PUD and development plan approval to construct an approximately 49,250 square foot retail center, a I 26-suite hotel (66,800 square foot Candlewood Hotel), a 2,900 square foot fast food restaurant (In-n-Out Burger), and a maximum 8,500 square foot restaurant on an approximately nine-acre site located on the northeast corner of Owens Drive and Johnson Drive; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O (Industrial/Commercial-Office) District; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 28, 1996, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration prepared for Case PUD-96-13; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated July 15, 1996, and received the recommendations of staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment.
