<br />E. Temporary signs may be used during outdoor convention events when displayed <br />according to an approved sign plan submitted concurrently with the application <br />for a temporary conditional use permitfor the event. Allowable temporary <br />signs are limited to: one, non-illuminated "welcome" banner sign per <br />convention and one, non-illuminated identific.ation sign per vendor during the <br />event. The "welcome" banner may not exceed 2ft. in height by 10ft. in length, <br />shall be affIXed on the hotel building wall or windows, shall be located within <br />10ft. of the main hotel entrance, and shaH be no higher than 12ft. above the <br />groundfloor grade. Individual vendor signs may not exceed 8 sq.ft. in area <br />and shall be installed within the sales area of the individual vendor. Vendor <br />signs shall be placed no higher than 8ft. from grade and shall not be oriented <br />towards or attempt to draw attention from any public street or freeway. The <br />"welcome" and individual vendor signs may only be displayed during the <br />outdoor event. <br /> <br />F. No permit shall be granted unless it is found that the operation of the outdoor <br />sale/display will not be detrimental to the public health, slifety, and general <br />welfare. Conditions may be attached to the permit approval as necessary to <br />protect the public health, safety, and general welfare. <br />
