1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />December 19, 2024 <br />7:30 a.m. <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue, Council Chambers <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Meeting called to order at 7:36 a.m. by EVC Chair Brian Wilson followed by the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Chair Brian Wilson, Gavin Shea, Josh Chanin, Ken Benhamou, and Steve <br />McCoy-Thompson. Davinder Channon and Reena Gupta joined the meeting <br />after roll call. <br /> <br />Absent: Igor Leonov <br /> <br />City staff: Economic Development Manager Lisa Adamos, Economic Development <br />Program Specialist Simone Pereira <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />None were noted. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Approval of the Consent Calendar which included the October 17, 2024, meeting minutes and <br />EVC Calendar for 2025 were approved as presented on motion by Gavin Shea and second by <br />Steve McCoy Thompson. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br />Chair Wilson opened public comment. There were no public comments. Chair Wilson closed <br />public comment. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> <br />3. Receive Retail Development Program Update <br />Alex Greenwood of The Alex Greenwood Group provided an overview of the progress to date <br />on the Retail Development Program. This project was introduced to the EVC at its June 20, <br />2024, meeting. The following three tasks have been completed: <br />1. Retail Centers Tour to develop opportunity site database <br />2. Void Analyses to identify retail categories with greatest potential <br />3.
