Carmel Mission Inn 3665 Rio Road Carmel, CA 93923 http://www.carmelmissioninn.com (831) 624-1841 x3 GROUP SALES AGREEMENT Carmel Mission Inn This agreement (the “Agreement”) is made and entered into by and between the legal owner entity of the Carmel Mission Inn (hereinafter referred to as “Hotel”) and City of Pleasanton (hereinafter referred to as “Group”). This Agreement will become binding on both parties only after it is signed by both parties. The following guestroom, function and event space(s) have been set aside on a first option tentative basis until November 13, 2025. With this option, Group has first right of refusal of the dates outlined below. After receipt of Group’s executed copy of this Agreement and all required materials, Hotel will countersign the Agreement. Once signed by both parties, this Agreement will enter into full force and effect as of the date of Hotel’s signature below (the “Effective Date”). Group shall be responsible for any applicable taxes, fees or assessments, the amounts which are subject to change by applicable government agencies with or without notice. If Group is claiming tax-exempt status, then (1) Group must present all documentation required by Hotel and pay in the manner specified by Hotel and (2) Group hereby accepts all liability and agrees to indemnify Hotel for all taxes paid and all costs incurred, including attorney fees, if a taxing authority requires that Hotel remit tax for the room nights covered by this Agreement. Current taxes: Nightly 10.5% transient occupancy tax plus $5.10 MCTID tax. Facility Fee: There is an additional $10.00 per room night mandatory daily fee not included in the Group room rates listed above to cover: WiFi, use of heated pool, hot tub and fitness room, in-room coffee/tea service. This daily fee is subject to change, retained (and not distributed as a tip or gratuity to Hotel staff) by Hotel. Accordingly, if Group or its attendees wish to provide a tip or gratuity to Hotel’s staff, it may do so. Parking: Parking fee is waived for group. Hotel will provide parking to Group’s guests for one vehicle at $30.00 plus tax per night, subject to availability.
