Resolution No. PC-96-29
Page 2

C. The proposed conditional use will comply with each ofthe applicable
provisions of this chapter.

The site's PUD-I (Planned Unit Development - Industrial) zoning
conditionally permits the establishment of churches. The church will
provide parking as required by the Zoning Code. Granting a conditional
use permit to the applicants would be consistent with the City's ability to
regulate zoning as listed in the Municipal Code Chapter 18.124.

WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed modifications to the
Pleasanton Community Church will be compatible with the surrounding uses.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON
RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING:

Section 1.

Section 2.

Approves Case UP-96-1 0, the application of David Sell (Pleasanton Community
Church) for a conditional use permit to permit the relocation of Sunday school
classrooms from 4455 Stoneridge Drive to the second floor of 4439 Stoneridge
Drive, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made
part of this case by reference.

This resolution shall become effective IS days after its passage and adoption
unless appealed prior to that time.

THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
PLEASANTON ON THE 8TH DAY OF MAY 1996 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:

AYES:
NOES:
ABSENT:
ABSTAIN:

Commissioners Barker, Hovingh, McGuirk, Wright, and Chairman Lutz
None
None
None

g~d~

Pegg 'ar
City Clerk

~~~
Harry Lutz
Chairperson
APPROVED AS TO FORM:
~&~
Dennis Beougher
Assistant City Attorney
