Resolution No. PC-96-10
Page 10

e. Twenty-four-inch-box trees shall be located at the ends of the main drive
aisle planter medians, in the landscape areas at the ends ofthe aisles, and scattered
throughout the parking areas. Larger trees also shall be installed throughout the
project to help screen and buffer buildings. Twenty-four inch box trees shall be of
a fast-growing specie; no crape myrtle shall be installed in a 24-inch box size.

f. Thirty-six-inch box trees shall be used at the main entry and in the larger
planter areas at the secondary entrance. No fewer than twelve 36-inch box trees
shall be installed

g. Several more trees shall be installed in selected areas throughout the site,
but in particular, trees shall be installed within "finger" island planters between
carports.

h. Different tree species and planting patterns shall be used to better
demarcate the hierarchy of footpaths. In particular, main footpaths which lead to
open space areas shall be clearly identified through a distinct landscape treatment
beginning at the parking areas.

i. Trees proposed within the PG&E easement shall be located no closer than five
feet to the power poles and power lines, subject to approval from PG&E. Tree
species to be installed within this easement shall be selected in accordance with
PG&E guidelines. If PG&E refuses to permit trees within the easement, the
applicant shall plant a higher density of trees between buildings and parking areas
and the easement. Additionally, a high density of shrubs and groundcovers shall
be located within the easement.

j Additional shrubs shall be planted along the eastern property line to screen
the existing chain link fence along Tassajara Creek. The majority of these shrubs
shall be of a fast-growing densely-foliated species. Accent shrubs shall provide
color.

k. Details on the perimeter fencing along the western property line, details of
trellis and arbor structures, pool houses, pool fencing, and hardscape. Finish
materials and colors shall be indicated on all plans.

I. Locations for the trellises at the ends of carports and at the back of garages
shall be identified on the landscape plan.

17. All trees used in landscaping shall be a minimum of 15 gallons in size and all
shrubs a minimum of 5 gallons, unless otherwise shown on the approved
landscape plan.

----r-----------
