City Council Minutes Page 2 of 2 September 16, 2025 <br /> <br /> <br />The City Council and Planning Commission provided feedback in the following <br />categories: <br />• City Boundaries: Support development of a plan for long-term growth and <br />include expansion of the Urban Growth Boundary. <br />• Land Uses: Consider industrial and mixed residential uses. <br />• Open Space and Recreation: Recreational use is of interest for discussion, <br />but is not a focus area. <br />• Public Service Facilities: Interest in relocation of Pleasanton Garbage <br />Service, but requires further analysis, including cost. Further analysis is <br />needed to determine the feasibility of relocating the Operation Service <br />Center based on the City's available resources. <br />• Infrastructure and Circulation: Explore financing opportunities provided by <br />new development, especially for the construction of El Charro Road. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Mayor Balch adjourned the meeting at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk
