Resolution No. PC-97-76
Page 4

10. The applicant's garage must be able to park at least two cars as required by the Pleasanton
Municipal Code. All automobiles owned or operated by the applicant or tenants living at
1045 Riesling Drive shall be parked in the garage during all swim lessons, thereby leaving
two parking spaces in the applicant's driveway available for students to park in while swim
classes are being taught.

II. No swim lessons shall be taught between November I and March 31 of any year.

12. A flyer shall be distributed to all students or their parents before their first lesson. This
flyer shall state the swim lesson rules. The flyer must state the following: (1) the students
or their parents must park in the applicant's driveway if fewer than one car is parked in the
driveway, (2) if the driveway has two cars parked in it, the student or their respective
parent must park in one of the two spaces directly in front of the applicant's house if either
space is available. The flyer must also encourage the students and their parents to be
courteous and respectful of the residential neighborhood by quietly closing car doors, not
turning their cars around in neighbors' driveways, and leaving promptly after a lesson so
the next series of students can park in the applicant's driveway or on the public street in
front of the applicant's house. Finally, the flyer must state that these rules are enforced by
the City and the applicant's permit may be revoked if the rules are not followed. This flyer
must be approved by the Planning Department before a non-exempt home occupation
permit will be issued to the applicant.

13. The applicant shall secure and maintain all appropriate licenses and certifications for swim
instruction during the entire time the residence is utilized as a swim lesson facility.

14. Noise generated by the project shall not exceed Municipal Code and General Plan limits
acceptable in the residential area.

15. The applicant shall maintain the site in a neat and litter free manner at all times.

16. A map showing the floor plan of the residence and the route the Fire Department can take
to the swimming pool shall be provided to the Fire Department prior to the issuance of a
non-exempt home occupation permit.

{end}
