Adequate public safety measures have been incorporated into the design of <br />the plan. <br /> <br />conditions necessary to ensure that the future development ofthe site <br />complies with all the necessary public safety measures have been included. <br /> <br />7. The plan conforms to the purposes of the PUD District. <br /> <br />The site is surrounded by existing homes and has infill characteristics which <br />necessitates the PUD zoning. Furthermore, as a unique, historical <br />structure, it needs the flexibility ofthe PUD district to maintain it as a <br />community resource. The residential use, with the applicable conditions, <br />would substantially comply with the purpose ofthe PUD District. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the residential use for the property <br />located at 1780 Foothill Road (the Bernal Adobe) is the most appropriate use for <br />this site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOL YES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case PUD-85-15-9M, the application of the City of <br />Pleasanton for a PUD modification to change the land use for the property located <br />at 1780 Foothill Road (the Bernal Adobe) to residential, subject to the conditions <br />shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />_._ _u _._'_ --.'- <br /> <br />--.----.--.--------- <br />
