Scope of Work <br />Task 1: Coordination with Project Partners and Consultant <br />Task 1.1: Kick-Off Meeting: Upon project initiation, Hexagon will schedule a kick-off meeting including <br />the project team and City staff to discuss the project objectives, pertinent project background <br />information, communication protocols, scope and schedule, and set up a recurring meeting time for <br />check-in meetings. Hexagon will coordinate with City staff to develop a detailed work plan, schedule, <br />and invoicing structure. Meeting and conference call schedules to discuss progress will be established. <br /> <br />Task 1.2: Project Team Meetings: Assuming a schedule of 14 months, this scope includes monthly 1- <br />hour virtual check-in meetings led by Hexagon. Hexagon will prepare meeting agendas, as well as <br />summarize and distribute meeting minutes. Project administration and management work are also <br />included in this task. <br />Task 1 Deliverables: Kick-off Meeting agenda and minutes, Monthly meeting minutes and action items, <br />and monthly progress reports, and invoice <br />Task 2: Inventory of Facilities, Programs, and Existing Conditions <br />The team will review any pertinent documents and programs applicable to BPMP. These include: <br />TASK 2: <br />Document <br />Review: <br />• Pleasanton Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan, 2018 <br />• Pleasanton General Plan <br />• Pleasanton Climate Action Plan, 2022 <br />• Pleasanton Trails Master Plan, 2019 <br />• Programs implemented since BPMP, 2018 was adopted <br />TASK 2: <br />Hexagon’s <br />additions: <br />• Alameda County Active Transportation Plan, 2022 <br />• Active Transportation Plans and other relevant plans of adjacent <br />Jurisdictions <br />• MTC Regional Active Transportation Plan, 2023 <br />• BART Station Access Policy and Multimodal Access Design Guidelines <br />• Pleasanton Specific plans <br /> <br />The team will review the City’s 2018 Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan and 2019 Trails Master Plan, <br />including relevant maps and route networks, and compare against documentation of recently <br />implemented bicycle projects and satellite map (via Google), to determine which facilities have been <br />implemented since adoption of each plan. The team will then update the City’s GIS layers to include <br />bicycle projects that have been implemented since adoption of each plan. <br /> <br />The team will also conduct a targeted pedestrian facility inventory of up to twenty major intersections in <br />Pleasanton. The intersections will be selected in coordination with City staff. Preliminarily, we anticipate <br />to pick major intersections near high pedestrian generators such as malls, schools, downtown, and <br />regional transit hubs.
