The development shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Chapter 20.24 <br />of the Pleasanton Municipal Code). <br /> <br />39. All construction shall conform to the requirements of the City of Pleasant on Building and <br />Fire Codes as adopted by Ordinance # 1669 automatic fire sprinkler and alarm systems. <br />Automatic fire sprinkler systems shall be installed as specified in the Pleasanton Municipal <br />Code, Chapter 20, Section 20.08.048. <br /> <br />40. Should any business operation and!or use involve the storage and!or handling of <br />hazardous materials, compliance with the Pleasanton Municipal Ordinance Chapter 9.16 <br />and the Uniform Fire Code 1994 Edition as amended by the States of California, <br />California Fire Code 1995 Edition is required. <br /> <br />41. All new buildings and occupancies shall be provided with an approved key box (Knox <br />box) at locations specified by the Fire Department, in accordance with City of Pleasant on <br />Ordinance #1699. <br /> <br />42. Fire hydrants shall be located and installed as specified by the Fire Chief or Fire Marshall. <br />Fire hydrant spacing shall be 300'. Approval for the number, type and location offire <br />hydrants shall be subject to the approval of the Fire Chief and the City Engineer. <br /> <br />43. An additional, on-site fire hydrant in proximity to the front of the two buildings shall be <br />indicated on the utility plan. It may be located either near the plaza area shown between <br />the two buildings or in a landscape island in this area, subject to the review and approval <br />of the Fire Chief or Marshall. <br /> <br />44. On-site access ways and internal drives shall be designated as fire lanes and identified as <br />such by red-curb striping and posted with signs at locations approved by the Fire <br />Department. Where Fire Department vehicle access through or around a site involves changes of <br />direction or curves, minimum turning radii to facilitate fire truck turning radius for entry <br />into and exit from the site shall be as follows: an inside radius of 45 feet and an outside <br />radius of 55 feet. <br />
