<br />Resolution No. PC-97-52 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />would be documented in the final grading plan/permit and will be administered <br />by the City's Building and Public Works Departments. <br /> <br />6. Adequate public safety measures have been incorporated into the design of the <br />modified development plan: <br /> <br />Buildings are designed to meet the requirements of the Uniform Building Code, <br />other applicable City codes, and State of California mandated noise, energy, and <br />accessibility requirements. The project is conditioned to provide measures <br />consistent with the City's non-point stormwater runoff ordinance. <br /> <br />7. The modified development plan conforms to the purposes of the PUD District: <br /> <br />The changes proposed by the new development plan conform to the purposes of <br />the PUD District which encourage innovative building design, while adhering to <br />the standards of the Pleasanton General Plan, as follows: The innovative <br />"bowed" building design elements of the existing Providian buildings is also <br />provided with the new building. Providian will participate in any future <br />assessment district created to fund the construction of the I-6801West Las <br />Positas Boulevard freeway interchange or alternative traffic mitigation measures <br />approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed modification and design of <br />the project are appropriate. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOL YES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PUD-80-l6-10M and PUD-80-l6-17D, the application of <br />Providian BanCorp for a modification to the approved PUD plan for the Providian <br />BanCorp development to increase the allowed floor area for its fifth, unbuilt <br />building from 40,000 square feet to approximately 57,461 square feet, and for <br />PUD design review approval of the proposed building's design located in the <br />Signature Center Business Park, defined by Franklin and Johnson Drives, subject <br />to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B" and Exhibit "C," attached hereto and made <br />part ofthis case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
