<br /> <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting Minutes Page 1 May 8, 2025 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Parks and Recreation <br />Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />May 8, 2025 – 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chair Immadi called to order the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting at 7:02 p.m. from <br />the City Council Chamber at 200 Old Bernal Ave. <br /> <br />Chair Immadi led the Pledge of Allegiance and provided opening remarks. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Present: Commissioners Alfaro, Brown, Deckert, Hall, Medina, Schempp and Chair Immadi <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Library and Recreation Director Heidi Murphy moved item 7 to item 6 <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br />1. Introductions/Awards/Recognitions/Presentations – Director Murphy welcomed new <br />commissioners. The commissioners, Medina and Schempp, provided introductions. <br /> <br />2. Public Comment regarding items not listed on the agenda – Speakers are limited to <br />3 minutes. <br /> <br />Chair Immadi opened public comment. There being no comments, Chair Immadi closed the <br />public comment. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Brown/Hall to approve the Consent Calendar. <br />The motion passed by the following vote: <br />Page 3 of 58
