<br />Resolution No. PC-97-38 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />Adequate access is provided to all structures for police, fire, and other <br />emergency vehicles. <br /> <br />Buildings are designed to meet the requirements of the Uniform Building <br />Code, other applicable City codes, and State of California mandated noise, <br />energy, and accessibility requirements. <br /> <br />7. The plan conforms to the purposes ofthe PUD District. <br /> <br />The proposed PUD development plan conforms to the purposes of the PUD <br />District by providing safe access to the site and adequate on-site parking and <br />circulation. By taking advantage of the flexibility of the PUD district, the <br />applicants and staff have been able to work together to design the project in a <br />manner most appropriate for this use. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed site layout, building <br />design, and significant landscaping will meet the City's design standards and <br />expectations for the site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case PUD-97-02, the application of Stephen <br />Chamberlin AssociateslFederal Express for Planned Unit Development <br />development plan approval to construct a one-story, approximately 90,163 square <br />foot, warehouse/office building and an approximately 3,449 square foot vehicle <br />maintenance building to be utilized for Federal Express' mail sorting and <br />distribution operations on an approximately 5.58 acre parcel generally located at <br />the northeast corner of 1-680 and Stoneridge Drive, subject to the conditions <br />shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />
