THE CITY OF <br /> <br />lPL£AS&NTON <br /> <br />4G <br /> <br />City Council <br />Staff Report <br /> <br /> January 4, 2005 <br />Public Works Department <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />RATIFICATION AND ACCEPTANCE OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL ON <br />VINEYARD AVENUE AT RUBY HILL BOULEVARD <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council take the following action at the <br />meeting of January 4, 2005: <br /> <br />1. Ratify the approval by the City Manager of the plans and specifications <br /> for the traffic signal improvements on Vineyard Avenue at Ruby Hill <br /> Boulevard. <br /> <br />2. Accept for normal maintenance the traffic signal on Vineyard Avenue <br /> at Ruby Hill Boulevard. <br /> <br />3. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />SUMMARY: <br /> <br />One of the conditions of approval that was placed upon the Ruby Hill <br />Development while the development was being processed by Alameda <br />County was that a traffic signal be installed on Vineyard Avenue at the <br />intersection of Ruby Hill Boulevard. Staff approved the traffic signal for <br />construction in January 2003; at this time the traffic signal is complete <br />and ready to be formally accepted. <br /> <br />SR:05:001 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
