IFO'.qN~ ORDINANCE NO. 387 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTO~7, CALIFORNIA, REQUIRING THE SUBMISSION OF A PROPERTY SURVEY AND SITE PLAN WITH EACH P~PPLICATION FOR A BUILDING PERMIT AND SPECIFYING METHOD OF PREPARATION AND INFORMATION TO BE SHOWN THEREON .~ECTION 1.00: PLAT OF SURVEY REQUIRED With each application for a building permit to erect, construct or enlarge a building or structure, or to move an existing building or structure to a new location, there shall be submitted a plat of a recent survey of the property pro- posed to be improved by said building or structure. These requirements shall be in addition to the requirements of Chapter 15, Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code of the State of California (Land Surveyors' Act) which shall take precedence when a Record of Survey is required. S. ECTION 1.Ol: FORM OF SURVEY PLAT The survey plat shall consist of one reproducible copy, accurately dra'~n to a scale of twenty feet to one inch and on a standard sized sheet of 18 inches by 26 inches, unless otherwise authorized by the City Engineer. .SECTION 1.02: INFORMATION REQUIRED .ON SURVEY PLAT The following minimum information shall be shown on all property surveys: 1. The name and number of the licensed land surveyor or registered civil engineer who performed the survey together with his signature and seal, and the date the survey was made. 2. The exterior boundary lines of the property with their bearings and distances. 3. The location and type of mounuments or other markers found or set by the surveyor. 4. The map, deed and measured distance along the street property line from a side line of the property to the nearest intersecting street. 5. The location of existing easements affecting the property with sufficient date to accurately locate. 6, Contour lines at one foot intervals or spot eleva- tion on a grid system for predominant ground slopes between level and 5%7 contour lines at two foot intervals for predominant ground slopes between 5% and 10%, contour lines at five foot or other appro- priate interval for predominant ground slopes exceeding 107o. All grades and contours shall be based on U.S.G.S. datum unless otherwise authori'~ed by the City Engineer. 7. The location of all existing buildings, structures or other ~rovements on the property including pertinent fences or poles and power lines.
