CITY OF PLEASANTON URBAN FOREST MASTER PLAN | 91 <br />URBAN FOREST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES <br />The budget data above highlights where current expenditures <br />are going, and what each line items’ average cost is over <br />the past six years. Pairing this budget data with services <br />provided allows City staff to more accurately predict future <br />expenses. Currently, Pleasanton’s urban forest program is <br />97% funded through the General Fund, with the remaining <br />funding coming from the Urban Forestry Fund. The Urban <br />Forestry Fund is primarily funded through developer <br />contributions from development projects within the City. <br />Appendix E describes other potential funding sources to <br />help meet urban forestry goals. <br />Table 1-4.
