These programs aim to enhance literacy and foster
community engagement while aligning with departmental goals. Staff have evaluated each
program’s effectiveness using performance indicators, considering prior-year metrics, surveys,
and feedback to determine whether to continue, adjust, pause, or conclude a program. Even
with marketing and outreach efforts, some programs may not be the best fit for the library’s
offerings. While the total number of programs planned will remain consistent with the previous
year, adjustments will focus on refining offerings to prioritize programs with higher participation
and those that meet community needs.
