Resolution No. 2024-077 <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br /> "already in process" shall be determined by the Community Development Director, subject to <br /> appeal to the City Manager. Planning applications subject to a negotiated agreement with the <br /> City or vested rights under state law shall be subject to the terms of such agreement or state <br /> law. <br /> Section 4: The City Council hereby permits any multi-family residential project ordinarily subject <br /> to the requirements of PMC Chapter 17.44 with respect to provision of on-site affordable units, <br /> and whose application is deemed complete between December 18, 2024 and December 17, <br /> 2026, to pay the Affordable Housing Fee in-lieu of constructing up to 33 percent of the required <br /> units on site (i.e. whereas PMC Chapter 17.44 would typically require 15 percent of the total <br /> project units to be included as affordable units constructed on-site, during the specified period, <br /> only 10 percent of the units would be required to be affordable units constructed on-site, with <br /> the project permitted to pay a pro-rata share of the Affordable Housing Fee in-lieu of <br /> constructing the remaining units) Multi-family residential projects shall be subject to all other <br /> applicable requirements in PMC Chapter 17.40 and 17.44. <br /> Section 5: The amendments to the Master Fee Schedule as identified in attached Exhibit "C" <br /> adopted by this Resolution shall take effect on February 15, 2025, a period no sooner than 60 <br /> days following adoption of this Resolution, except for those projects "already in process" in <br /> accordance with Section 3 of this Resolution. All other provisions of this Resolution shall be <br /> effective immediately. <br /> Section 6.
