EXHIBIT A <br />1) Scope of Consultant’s Services <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES: You are hiring us as Private Investigators to perform investigative <br />services in the matter described in Item 2 of this Exhibit. We will provide those services <br />reasonably required to represent you. We will take reasonable steps to keep you informed of <br />progress and to respond to your inquiries. If this matter results in legal action in a court of law <br />(civil or criminal), we will testify as required and at the testimony rate described in Item 3 of this <br />Exhibit. This Agreement will govern all future services we may perform for you. <br />2) Scope of Investigation / Consulting Services <br />CHAPLIN AND HILL INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES LLC (C&HIS) is being retained to <br />perform the following: <br />I. Conduct investigative work in the form of, but not limited to: <br />A. Interview witnesses, subjects and complainants <br />B. Review documentary and media evidence in the form of: <br />1. Reports <br />2. Correspondence, including emails, text messages, and related <br />3. Video/audio recordings to include but is not limited to the following: <br />a) Body worn cameras <br />b) Surveillance footage <br />c) Other digital media <br />4. Other material related to the investigation <br />C. Generate reports related to the investigation <br />1. Introduction <br />2. Witness and Subject Interviews <br />3. Summary of the investigation <br />4. Findings – If requested <br />5. Notice of IA – If requested <br />6. Notice of intent to discipline – if requested <br />7. Required notifications <br />8. Letter of Reprimand and Document Counseling memos – If requested <br />D. Conduct audits, evaluations, and/or general consultation (if applicable) <br />C&HIS agrees to provide routine updates as to the progress of the case. <br />3) Compensation and Billing Structure <br /> <br />MINIMUM FEE: There is no charge for the initial consultation but if both parties agree that <br />C&HIS will perform investigative services, a ten-hour minimum ($2,250.00, at an hourly <br />investigation rate of $225.00 per hour) plus any expenses incurred will apply. <br />PAYMENTS: All payments must be made by credit card, pre-approved personal or business <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 1B65D8BB-306F-4CEA-97D4-8D9BBCF94581
