The temporary power was installed <br />under a time-and-material basis utilizing the City’s on-call electrical contractor, SD Electric <br />(SD), and continues to power the park. On October 3, 2023, the City Council approved a <br />third amendment with SD to increase the agreement to $295,000 for FY23/24 to complete <br />the work and created and funded Ken Mercer Sports Park Emergency Electrical Repairs, <br />CIP No. 23374. Delays associated with the manufacturing of electrical equipment have <br />pushed the work to just recently starting this month. The as -needed maintenance and <br />trade services agreement expired on June 30, 2024.
