City Council Minutes Page 3 of 4 October 1, 2024 <br />amount of $64,690 to provide Engineer's Reports and Proposition 218 balloting <br />procedures for the Moller Ranch and Ponderosa-Del Prado Landscape <br />Maintenance Districts <br />Recommendation: <br />1.Approve the professional services agreement with SCI Consulting Group, <br />Inc. in the amount of $64,690 to provide engineers reports and Proposition <br />218 balloting procedures for the Moller Ranch and Ponderosa-Del Prado <br />Landscape Maintenance Districts and authorize the City Manager to execute <br />the agreement.  <br />2.Authorize the Director of Public Works to execute amendments to the <br />professional service agreement up to a not-to-exceed amount of $6,500 <br />(approximately 10 percent) for unforeseen yet necessary related work. <br />7.Approve an approximately three-year maintenance services agreement to the <br />lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Best Quality Tree Service, for median <br />mulch replenishment in the not-to-exceed contract amount of $304,152, inclusive of <br />a 15 percent contingency per year, with the option to extend two additional one- <br />year extensions with satisfactory performance <br />Recommendation: <br />1.Approve an approximately three-year agreement with Best Quality Tree <br />Service from November 1, 2024, to June 30, 2027, in the not-to-exceed <br />amount of $304,152, inclusive of a 15 percent contingency per year. <br />2.Authorize the City Manager to exercise optional two additional one-year <br />contract extensions provided upon satisfactory performance at the end of <br />the three-year term contract. <br />8.Approve a professional services agreement with West Yost & Associates, Inc., in <br />the not-to-exceed amount of $123,790 to provide assistance with a Cross- <br />Connection Control Plan Development and Hazard Assessments in compliance <br />with the Cross-Connection Control Policy Handbook <br />Recommendation: Approve a professional services agreement with West Yost & <br />Associates, Inc., in the not-to-exceed amount of $123,790 to provide assistance <br />with a cross-connection control plan development and hazard assessments in <br />compliance with the Cross-Connection Control Policy Handbook. <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br />9.Oath of Office to new commission and committee members <br />Mayor Brown introduced all newly appointed commission and committee members. <br />Page 10 of 658
