Resolution No. 04-090 <br /> <br />Page Two <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the canvass has been duly made for the election regarding City of Pleasanton <br />Measure X and the returns are as follows: <br />Shall the voters be guaranteed the right to approve the land use plan (Phase II) for <br />the Bemal Property? <br /> <br />Yes 26,618 <br />No 3,138 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the municipal election consisted of electing one Mayor, two Councilmembers and <br />one ballot measure as stated above; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The following person is hereby declared elected to the office of Mayor of the City <br />of Pleasanton: <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />Section 3: <br />Section 4: <br /> <br />Jennifer Hosterman is elected for one full term (two years) from and after <br />December 7, 2004, and until her successor is elected and qualified. <br /> <br />The following persons are hereby declared elected to the office of City <br />Councilmember of the City of Pleasanton: <br /> <br />Cindy McGovern and Matt Sullivan are elected for one full term each (four years) <br />from and after December 7, 2004, and until their successors are elected and <br />qualified. <br /> <br />Measure X regarding the right to approve the land use plan (Phase II) for the <br />Bernal Property is hereby declared approved. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
