Exhibit A <br /> <br />Scope of Work <br />Chandler Asset Management (“Consultant”), Inc. will provide investment services to the City of <br />Pleasanton (“City”). The scope of work includes full-time investment management of City’s funds; <br />reviewing and providing recommended updates to the investment policy; evaluating market risk <br />and developing strategy; establishing appropriate benchmark; achieving portfolio compliance with <br />code and the investment policy; ensuring portfolio match city’s investment objectives; performing <br />rigorous credit analysis of securities held in the portfolio; and providing regular updates including <br />monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. <br />Proposed Fee Schedule <br />Consultant calculates fees based on the average balance of assets under our direct management <br />(market value including accrued interest), fees in dollars will fluctuate (higher or lower) based on <br />the actual portfolio value. Fees are charged monthly in arrears and can be debited directly from <br />your third-party custody account. Consultant does not charge fees on funds held in vehicles not <br />directly under our management, including Local Government Investment Pools and internally <br />managed liquid funds. Below is the fee schedule. <br /> <br /> <br />Additional Terms <br />1. City Representative. In its capacity as investment manager, Consultant shall receive all <br />instructions, directions and other communications on City's behalf respecting City's account <br />from the Director of Finance or authorized designee. Consultant is hereby authorized to rely <br />and act upon all such instructions, directions and communications from such Representative <br />or any agent of such Representative. <br /> <br />2. Investment Policy. In investing and reinvesting City’s assets, Consultant shall comply with <br />City’s Investment Policy, which is attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br /> <br />3. Authority of Consultant. Consultant is hereby granted full discretion to invest and reinvest all <br />assets under its management in any type of security it deems appropriate, subject to the <br />instructions given or guidelines set by Representative. <br /> <br />4. Electronic Delivery. From time to time, Consultant may be required to deliver certain <br />documents to City such as account information, notices and required disclosures. City hereby <br />consents to Consultant’s use of electronic means, such as email, to make such delivery.
