Page 8 of 12 <br />performed on November 14, 2023. <br />• On December 20, the contractor submitted their final pay application to complete <br />payment for the work performed. <br />o On February 6, 2024, the City Council accepted the public improvements for the <br />mountain bike trail by the contractor – Paulson Cox Construction, Inc. <br /> <br />LUND RANCH TRAIL <br /> <br />The Lund Ranch property is located on the east side of town to the east of Lund Ranch Road <br />and adjacent to the Bonde Ranch Open Space. The 168-acre property was donated to the <br />City as part of the development agreement with the Lund Ranch property owner. The <br />proposed trail in the open space surrounding the Lund Ranch development will be <br />approximately 3 miles in length and will connect Sunset Creek Lane through the hills and past <br />the creek on the east side of the development up around to the North with the Bonde Ranch <br />Open Space trails. There will also be a trail extension that leads to the southeast property line <br />near the Upper Sycamore Water Tank. <br />Project status: Construction of the trail is complete. <br />o Construction of the trail started in January 2024. <br />o Staff conducted a substantial completion walk of the trail on April 3 and the trail is now <br />open for use. <br /> <br /> <br />BERNAL COMMUNITY FARM <br /> <br />Based on the support of the community, the City agreed to explore the design of a community <br />farm for Pleasanton residents at the Bernal property.
