7
Service Centers Nationwide

and targeted applications with granular or gel baits and ending with the more traditional
application of pesticides. Traditional pesticides are used only when all other options are exhausted.

Step 5. Monitoring

It is the collection of data over a period to inform if an infestation is present, the type of pest, its level
of infestation, and possibly where they are coming from. Monitoring also helps determine if the
control measures are effective through time or need adjusting. Devices like glue boards, insect light
traps, ovitraps (for mosquitoes), rodent monitoring stations can be used for monitoring purposes.
In many cases, a site map identifying these traps and their locations will be created to help with
data collection and report creation. Monitoring also includes inspection and will happen after the
initial services.

Step 6. Documentation

An important part of IPM is documenting activities performed in the service tickets, reviewing pest
sighting logs, and providing clients with documents with pre/ post-service instructions, along with
tips on how to prevent pests. Other documents that can be provided to clients include service
agreements, inspection reports, trending reports, IPM plan, pesticide logs, etc.

Step 7. Client Education

At Pestmaster, our communication process happens verbally and through documentation Before,
during, and after services. Client education is a vital portion of IPM, since many sanitation and
exclusion approaches should be performed by the client to support the control methods
implemented by Pestmaster. During our client education step, we set up the expectations with our
clients and deliver what was informed.

Specific Approach to Pests
Please note that some pests listed may not be part of the requested services in this solicitation but are listed
to demonstrate Pestmaster’s ability to handle such matters should they be requested as additional services
in the future.

RODENTS – MICE AND RATS:

Mice are considered one of the most troublesome and economically important rodent’s categories
in the United States. Mice live and thrive under a variety of conditions. They are found in cities,
tending towards a food source such as restaurants and around homes and farms as well as in open
fields and agricultural lands. Mice consume and contaminate food meant for humans, livestock, or
other animals. They cause damage to structures and property, and they may transmit diseases. The
deer mouse has been identified as the carrier of Hantavirus.
DocuSign Envelope ID: 16D1C412-7260-4260-8A87-C870C0BEE374
