DocuSign Envelope ID: 4BE41 ABD-CDC3-4DEF-91 DE -1 EFE877592DC <br />CONTRACT <br />VALLEY AVENUE AND NORTHWAY ROAD <br />INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS <br />PROJECT NO. 23532 <br />THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into this 16th day of April f 20 24by and <br />between Columbia Electric, Inc. , ("Contractor"), whose address is <br />1980 Davis Street, San Leandro, CA 94577 , and telephone number is (510) 430-9505 and the <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the City has awarded the Contractor a contract for VALLEY AVENUE <br />AND NORTHWAY ROAD INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT NO. 23532 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein, the parties <br />agree as follows: <br />Work to be Performed. The work will generally consist of: <br />This work will consist of removing existing southeast and southwest concrete <br />channelizing medians, removing an existing flashing crosswalk, construction of concrete <br />curb extensions (bulb -outs) at the southeast and southwest curbs, installing minor <br />landscaping and irrigation, constructing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) curb <br />ramps, and installing a traffic signal. Electrical work would compose of: protection of <br />existing utilities and appurtenances; the installation of foundations, pole standards, mast <br />arms, signal display equipment, luminaires, lamps, underground conduits, pull boxes, <br />cables and conductors; the bonding and grounding of circuitry, the installation of <br />electrical services; excavating and backfilling, installing signing on traffic signal <br />standards; traffic control; and all other necessary an any other not of work not mentioned <br />above that are required by the Plans and these Special Provisions. <br />Prime contractor shall self -perform 50% or more of the contract work by dollar amount. <br />Said work is more particularly shown in the following documents which are on file with <br />the Public Works Department, Engineering Division of the City and are incorporated <br />herein by this reference: <br />A. Approved Plans and Specifications entitled the VALLEY AVENUE <br />AND NORTHWAY ROAD INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS, <br />PROJECT NO. 23532. and addenda thereto, if any. <br />
