Location and Notification Map <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends the Planning Commission approve Conditional Use Permit (CUP) Case No. <br />P24-0110, based on the findings and subject to the draft conditions of approval in Exhibit A. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br />School of Pleasanton, wishes to operate a childcare facility for children between the ages of <br />six months and five years. The proposed facility would be operated in an approved but yet to <br />be constructed stand-alone building1 Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. <br />The project site would have a total of 27 on-site parking spaces. To facilitate traffic flow and <br />avoid vehicle queuing being backed up onto roadways during drop-off and pickup <br />times, the applicant has secured 10 parking spaces on the adjacent site for daycare staff <br />members. Staff is supportive of the proposed use based on the project analysis described in <br /> <br />1 The construction plans of the subject building are in plan review. The applicant estimates starting construction in <br />Summer/Fall of 2024.
