EQUITY AND SUSTAINABILITY Protecting the City’s ability to collect fees and charge revenues is vital to ensuring that the services the City provides are available to all members of the Pleasanton community. OUTREACH No community outreach was conducted related to this item. The City is a member of the League of California Cities and works collaboratively on items in alignment with the City’s adopted Legislative Framework. City staff will provide education regarding this initiative to the community in the near future. STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT This action aligns with the ONE Pleasanton Strategic Plan goal of Funding our Future as the ability to conduct local fiscal planning and generate sufficient revenue to support City functions is essential to the City's financial stability. FISCAL IMPACT The Taxpayer Protection and Government Accountability Act will have a major fiscal impact by lowering tax and fee revenues at both state and local government levels.
