The grant states <br />that the estimated number of residents served will be 72,689, with a cost per resident of $.10. <br /> <br />This grant meets Youth Master Plan Goal 3 - Contributing Youth <br /> <br />The Go Green Initiative Association Requested Funds: $7,500 <br />Local Leaders Summer Program Tentative Votes: 5 for / 5 against <br />Management Average Funding: $2,583 <br />Staff Recommendation: $0 <br />Program Description: <br />This program would provide a much-needed update to a 2019 report created by GGI summer <br />student leaders for Pleasanton Unified School District. This grant is focused on building on that <br />project, updating the building energy benchmarks, and creating a new report. This would go <br />simultaneously with the development of leadership, environmental, and professional skills for <br />our student leaders. Grant funds for this project will be used for program staff time on this <br />project after July 1, 2024. <br /> <br />Staff Comments: <br />The application and all documents were completed and submitted on time. With a request of <br />$7,500 and an estimated number of 72,689 residents served in Pleasanton, the cost <br />per resident is $.10. With limited grant funds and accounting for the initial votes from <br />Commissioners, staff is recommending to not fund this project. <br /> <br />This grant meets Youth Master Plan Goal 3 - Contributing Youth <br /> <br />Tri-Valley Haven Requested Funds: $7,500 <br />Anti-Trafficking Class Tentative Votes: 12 for / 0 against <br /> Average Funding: $4,615 <br /> Staff Recommendation: $4,500 <br />Program Description: <br />This project will implement effective, interactive Anti-Human Sexual Trafficking training to <br />Pleasanton Unified School District middle and high school students. TVH professional <br />instructors conduct presentations to local middle and high school students on the topic of <br />human trafficking in an age-appropriate manner, bringing awareness and thus decreasing the <br />spread of trafficking in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley areas. <br /> <br />Staff Comments: <br />The application and all documents were completed and submitted on time. With a request of <br />$7,500 and an estimated number of 1,000 residents served in Pleasanton, the cost per <br />resident is $7.50. <br /> <br />This grant meets the following Youth Master Plan Goal 2 - Healthy and Safe Youth <br /> <br />
