Emerging trends coming out of the pandemic and the eviction moratorium: Landlords selling properties and participants trying to find an affordable place to live with increased rental rates. Participants facing eviction and needing support to better understand their rights and responsibilities. A record high number of deposits needed averaging between $3,000 and $5,000 per household if they need to move from one house to another. A continued need for financial literacy as well as basic life and living skills. Mental health and delayed learning for children from being out of school for a time. Foster youth at risk of aging out of the foster care system. Many participants are at risk of eviction and in need of between 1-3 months of back rent to be current. 7.
