14. Accept public improvements performed by Gradetech, Inc. for the downtown transportation <br /> corridor parking lot project, CIP No. 17448 <br /> Recommendation: <br /> 1. Accept the Downtown Transportation Corridor Parking Lot Project as complete and authorize <br /> the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion. <br /> 2. Authorize the release of the retention in the amount of$139,856.27 to GradeTech, Inc. 30 <br /> days after the recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br /> 3. Authorize the return of the project's balance of$239,031 back to the Miscellaneous CIP - <br /> General Fund (Fund 201). <br /> Mayor Brown opened public comment. The following individual provided comment: Pat O'Brien, <br /> John Asmussen, Sean Fogarty, Scott McMillin, Erin Sharpe and Mike Montoya. <br /> The Mayor closed public comment. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Nibert/Balch to approve the consent calendar as recommended except <br /> for item 2, and with a modification to item 9 to not include adult Sunday soccer and that when <br /> updates to the master fee schedule are made for co-sponsored groups that it be brought before <br /> the Council for review. Presentation of a Proclamation Recognizing October 2023 as Arts & Humanities Month <br /> Councilmember Testa introduced the proclamation recognizing October 2023 as Arts & <br /> Humanities Month. <br /> Kelly Cousins, President of the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council, and Meghana Mitragotri, <br /> President of the Pleasanton Art League, received the proclamation. <br /> 16.
