1. Q: Documents are informative and straightforward. When are the fields projected
to open in Feb? Opening Day is scheduled for Sat, March 2nd.

A: Thank you very much.
Staff are well aware of the need for baseball and softball to have some practice
time before opening day. Each year, we take this into account and discuss with
Parks. This spring, both PLL & PGSL have fields allocated to share four
days/week at Stanford Stadium in February. Bernal baseball fields will open Feb
16, the Mercer Softball Complex will open February 5.

Pleasanton Girls Softball League

1. Nothing to discuss or meet.

A: Thank you.

Pleasanton LAX

1. Q: It says all coaches must have a hard copy or electronic copy of the facility
permit - is this referring to our field request application

A: This is a permit we create in our system for final allocation and send to you. It
can be shared electronically within your organization. We aim to create a method
that protects coaches, often volunteers for most sports groups, from any other
unpermitted user or person who refuses to leave the field. We also have online
field schedules that can be accessed by smartphone and used as well. However,
the permit is the most official approval.

RAGE Soccer

1. Q: The existing process outlines formulas/considerations for allocation to different
organizations based on their size/number of residents within their organization.
Equity is mentioned in the new proposal but is undefined and subjective. Is the
equity-based upon individuals as a percentage of their organization or as a
percentage of total numbers within all user groups? For example, is a user group
utilizing an entire field for practice with only 10 participants, equitable to another
user group needing to place 100 players on a field the same size due to a larger
membership? That is not an equitable allocation of space per individual user.

Also, can you please elaborate and provide examples/scenarios on how the Fair
Play Act will be utilized during the allocation process?
