9/27/2016 8:46 AM <br /> <br /> 9 <br />14.0 STORAGE AND/OR CONCESSIONS: <br /> <br />14.1 The City may provide storage containers for an organization’s seasonal use as described therein: <br /> <br />14.2 Storage permits are issued on a seasonal basis according to the sports’ “In Season” guideline. <br />Each group will be given a date to remove all items and maintain the facility in a clean manner <br />for inspection by City staff. <br /> <br />14.3 The City provides only the structures and existing equipment, as presented in the original design <br />of the building. It is the group’s responsibility to provide any and all other equipment, i.e., <br />storage racks. No permanent storage containers or shelves are allowed without prior written <br />permission of the City. Any alterations to facility are prohibited. <br /> <br />14.4 The City assumes no liability or responsibility for any equipment or storage units kept in the <br />storage areas. <br /> <br />14.5 User groups are not allowed to alter or change the locks on any storage unit or concession are a. <br />The City will issue two sets of keys to user groups for their seasonal use. Duplication of keys by <br />user groups is not allowed. All keys must be turned in at time of final inspection. <br /> <br />14.6 The facilities should be kept clean with equipment properly stored for safety. Upon conclusion <br />of the permit, the user shall clear out all equipment and sweep out and appropriately clean the <br />area. No equipment may be left unless prior approval is granted. <br /> <br />14.7 Organizations are required to provide an inventory of all items stored in said containers. Any /all <br />flammable and/or toxic substances are strictly prohibited in storage containers. <br /> <br />14.8 Any user failing to comply with these guidelines are subject to the following: <br /> <br />14.8.1.1 Forfeiture of any / all deposit(s) <br />14.8.1.2 Payment for all damages occurring to the facility <br />14.8.1.3 Termination of any /all field use permit(s) for one year <br /> <br />15.0 BANNERS: <br /> <br />Any group wishing to display banners on City facilities should send a written request to the Community <br />Services Director or designee for approval. <br /> <br />16.0 DENIAL OF USE: <br /> <br />Denial of use made by the City on the basis of the following reasons: <br /> <br />16.1 The facility is incapable of accommodating the proposed activity for the number of participants <br />involved. <br />16.2 The applicant has failed to comply with all the conditions required for the activity, or with the <br />facility usage policies, procedures and/or regulations. <br />16.3 The nature of the activity may endanger the participants, facility, equipment, or staff. <br />16.4 Or based on any substantive reason(s), as deemed by the City. <br />
