9/27/2016 8:46 AM <br /> <br /> 8 <br />10.2 Driving, operating, or parking any motor vehicle within the City parks and/or facilities is <br />prohibited, except in areas specifically designated as parking areas unless prior written <br />permission is obtained by the City. In case of medical emergencies, only emergency vehicles <br />will be allowed on the park for rescue purposes. <br /> <br />11.0 PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM USE: <br /> <br />11.1 Sound amplification equipment may be allowed in City parks and/or facilities, but is limited to <br />public address systems, stereo equipment, stationary and portable components, and/or bullhorns. <br />An approved City permit is required prior to use of any sound amplification equipment. Permits <br />may be applied for in the Community Services Department. A minimum of 15 working days is <br />required for consideration of approval. <br /> <br />11.2 Only persons 18 years and older will be allowed to operate any public address system. <br /> <br />11.3 All public address system use for athletic events must pertain to the game being played. <br />Special announcements should be kept to a minimum. “Play-by-play” announcing is prohibited. <br /> <br /> <br />12.0 MAINTENANCE: <br /> <br />12.1 The City will maintain parks, facilities, and fields for public use. <br /> <br />12.2 The City will provide maintenance such as field preparation, setting of bases, pegs and <br />installation of permanent equipment. Fees may be required depending on the type of <br />maintenance requested. . <br /> <br />12.3 User groups/organizations maintenance responsibilities shall include: <br /> <br />12.3.1 User groups/organizations are responsible for all maintenance such as lightweight field <br />preparation, setting of temporary bases or goals. <br /> <br />12.3.2 Motorized vehicles are not permitted in the City facilities for the preparation of athletic <br />fields or other activities unless prior written permission is obtained by the City. <br /> <br />12.3.3 Each user group is responsible for the facility being free of trash or debris caused by their <br />group’s usage, including checking restrooms and parking areas. <br /> <br />12.3.4 User groups are required to report any and all damage or acts of vandalism to the City <br />immediately. <br /> <br />12.3.5 The removal of base pegs requires prior departmental approval. <br /> <br />13.0 MODIFICATIONS: <br /> <br />Any request to modify or improve any City facility shall be submitted for review by the City for <br />consideration. No permanent structures or equipment shall be erected on City facilities unless approved <br />by the City and dedicated for community use. <br /> <br />
